Quartz Countertop Fabrication

Quartz is an engineered surface: crushed natural quartz bound in resin and pigment. Compared with natural stone it is non-porous, so it does not need periodic sealing, and it resists staining from wine, coffee, and citrus far better than marble or most granites. Colour and pattern are consistent slab to slab, which matters when a kitchen needs more than one slab to cover the run.

We fabricate to your layout rather than to standard sizes. Waterfall ends, mitered edges that read as a thicker slab, full-height backsplashes, integrated drainboards, and undermount sink cutouts are all handled in-house.

Edge Profiles

Standard profiles include eased, bevelled, bullnose, half bullnose, ogee, and mitered. Eased and mitered edges suit contemporary handle-free kitchens; ogee and bullnose sit better in traditional and transitional work. We will show profiles on sample stock so you are choosing from the actual material, not a drawing.

Templating and Installation

We template on site once cabinets are set and level, which is the only way to guarantee the counter follows the real walls rather than the drawing. Digital templating captures out-of-square conditions, wall bows, and appliance clearances before anything is cut.

Installation includes seam placement planned around sink and cooktop locations, levelling and shimming, silicone sealing, and coordination with your plumber for sink and faucet hook-up. Seams are placed where they are least visible rather than where they are most convenient to cut.

Kitchens and Counters from One Team

Because we build the cabinetry and fabricate the countertops, there is no gap between trades and no scheduling handoff to manage. Cabinet heights, filler strips, and counter overhangs are coordinated as one package, and if something needs adjusting on site there is one team responsible for it.
